They asked if I had insurance on it and I said yes I have apple care. They then told me that won't help and my only option is to buy out my phone, spend $135+ and get a new one. They ended up not having any iPhone 7s in stock so I decided to go to Best Buy mobile. Best Buy told me all I need to do is pay $29 at apple to replace my screen since I had apple insurance! Verizon either straight up lied to me to get a sale of another phone or failed to know what having apple care truly means. I highly recommend going to Best Buy mobile over Verizon, they saved me well over $100.
